The Church of Pentecost Hong Kong was officially established in 2017 as a registered non-governmental organization, becoming part of Hong Kong’s vibrant and multicultural religious community. As a branch of the global Church of Pentecost brand, headquartered in Ghana, we carry forward the rich Pentecostal heritage while embracing the diverse cultures of Hong Kong.
Our church began with a small group of international students and migrants, growing steadily through personal connections and dedicated ministry. In 2019, the appointment of our first resident missionary strengthened our leadership and helped expand our reach in the city.
Despite challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, we adapted quickly by moving services online, growing our membership, and continuing to support our community both spiritually and practically. Today, we serve a diverse congregation from Africa, Southeast Asia, and Hong Kong, fostering unity through inclusive worship and community engagement.
